Why are you called 'Mindful Host'?

It’s all in the name. “Mindful” is our promise to be thoughtful to the people we love and the planet we live on. “Host” is a dedication to celebrating all of life’s special moments .

What's with the rabbit mascot?

Japanese folklore, Tsuki no Usagi, tells the story of a rabbit who loved so much that he was willing to give all of himself to feed a beggar (read the full story). Rabbits are introvert creatures that love company. They are known for being loving, gentle and thoughtful of everything around them, just like the Mindful Host family.

Orders

I placed an order. When will I get it?

Whoop! Welcome to the Mindful Host family. We will ship your order the next business day after you place it. You’ll get a shipment notification email as soon as your package ships. It’s on the way!

During high volume periods, like sales, it may take us a little longer to ship your order. You can see our shipping times here.

I haven’t received my order yet. What’s going on?

You can use our handy tracker, to check your order status order status. If you are in the UK and it’s been over 4 working days since you placed your order, or if you are overseas and it’s been over 25 business days since you placed your order, please contact us with your name and order number.

How will I know if my order has been placed?

Once your order is placed, we will send you an email to confirm your order. You will also get an email to confirm when we ship your order. If you do not receive these, check your spam folder before trying to complete the order again to avoid duplicates.

International

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship all over the world. Just be sure to give your order sufficient time to arrive. You will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking information (where possible) so you can follow the order’s progress. See our shipping rates  and times here.

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship far and wide and we’re pretty proud of that. However, please check Royal Mail’s website to see if there are restrictions on what we can send to our country: Royal Mail Country Guides. For example, Nigeria prohibits postage of greeting cards and games into the country, which means your order would likely be stopped by customs and returned to us.

Will I have to pay import fees if I live outside the UK?

Potentially, your order may be subject to import fees / taxes  so please check your Country’s rules before you order. We have no control over these charges, we can’t tell you what the cost might be and customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.

Our shipping covers delivery to you, but does not include local duties or taxes at the point of import. These are your responsibility. Also remember that overseas shipments sometimes take longer time due to the delivery country’s customs.

Returns

How can I cancel Or change my order?

If you have made a mistake and need to cancel or alter your oder, contact us with your order number. If your order hasn’t been processed for dispatch, we will do our best to help you out.

How can I return a product?

We take our YAY! very seriously and want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If, for any reason, your Mindful Host order is not everything you had hoped for, please contact us. We happily accept the return of unused and undamaged products for a full refund in the form of the original payment less the original shipping fees. Read our full return terms.

Can I exchange my product?

Unfortunately, we do not offer a direct exchange service. If you wish to purchase different products, you can place a new order on our website and return the items you do not wish to keep.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept visa, mastercard or american express debit and credit cards (if the card has a symbol for visa or mastercard, it should work!). You can purchase using paypal too!

What currency do you accept?

You can buy in GBP, USB, or EUR. Use the flag in the top right corner to choose, before you head to checkout.

Are payment and shopping on your site secure?

Yep! Our checkout page uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol so information is encrypted and safe. Our payment processors: Paypal and Stripe use security systems and encryption technology to help ensure your security online.

What games are included in your games kit?

Each games kit contains 4 games, so you always get four awesome games to keep everyone entertained for a single price. Scroll down to the product description for each game to see what games are included in your kit.

Tell me more about the materials you use?

Bamboo: All our games dice are made of this natural material. Bamboo is a natural resource that grows many times faster than trees, uses much less water, produces up to 35 more oxygen and doesn’t need pesticides or herbicides!

Recycled Paper: We print our products using fine milled recycled paper. Our games cards are printed from card cut-offs from sustainable British paper mills.
